PechaKucha Miami
2009 – 2017
Pechakucha Night Miami is launched by Social Entrepreneur Carl Hildebrand. From 2009 – 2017, Carl hosts 34 Pechakucha events in a wide sweep of settings in Miami, ranging from art galleries to hotels to start-up incubators and rooftop gardens, from the Wolfsonian at FIU to The Fairchild Tropical Gardens, The Philip and Patrica Frost Museum of Science to The Sacred Space of Miami. Carl is also a Founding Member of the Miami Chapter of SingularityU and currently the Manager of Conscious Programming for Tierra Santa Healing House at Faena Miami Beach.
2020
In January 2020, Pechakucha Night Miami returns under the leadership of Presentation Coach and English-Spanish Media Trainer Rosemary Ravinal, supported by an Organizing Committee comprised of Ricardo Cookson, Adriana Machado, Achim Nowak and Silvina Rodriguez Picaro. It hosts a live event at The Light Box, home of its partner organization The Miami Light Project, and holds its first successful Virtual Pechakucha event.
2021
The 2021 season of Pechakucha Miami events is led by Marketing Specialist and Pechakucha Nights veteran Claudia Jannine, supported by an Organizing Committee comprised of Achim Nowak, Hugo Sanchez and Rosemary Ravinal.
